It's not sunny anymore, it's dark out. Just got the boys down after a long Thansksgiving weekend. Family, food, and fun. The weather has been amazing and today was full of sunshine.
I have to admit that I have an addiction to the weather channel. I watch it many times a day, it all started 6 years ago when I dreamed of having an outdoor wedding. The forecast called for rain that day, and it did in fact pour for periods of time before the ceremony. But come 3 pm, when I walked down the steps at the Delta Ocean Pointe towards John......it was sunny:)
Now I have to keep an eye out on the forecast to assit with planning my Boot Camp classes and Personal Training sessions.
Can't believe there is no rain in the forecast.....wow, we are so lucky. It's easier to be active, when the weather is not windy, cold and rainy. There might be a bit of a chill in the air with the sun, but there when you head out the door, no matter what the activity - after about 8-10 minutes you warm up, the layers will come off.
If you had a tough time staying true to healthy portion sizes, or being active this past weekend.....put it behind you. Face the sun, the shadows will fall behind you and you can move forward. One workout at a time and one meal at a time. Don't throw the entire week away because of a calorie ridden turkey feast. Be thankful for what you have, who you have in your life and embrace the strength you have inside of you to be the best you can be.
