Wow what a week......I had a baby, you have seen the pictures. William is an adorable, sweet little ray of sunshine.  Can't get enough of those snuggles.  Blogging has taken a 'reel' life backseat as I adjust to our new addition.  I had planned on posting this Reel Life experience last week, but I was in hospital.

I think that in this day and age, fitness and health can mean so many different things to different people. For some the focus is on fat loss, or getting that number on the scale down. Others love the fit challenges that we do every 6 weeks or so. It's a great way to see how you have become stronger, faster and improved on your times and performance.  Here is Amanda's story......

My story started before Reel Life Fitness even existed...about 5 years ago. When I met Cheryl and couldn't help but notice her amazing arms and thought, if she can have a fulltime job, 2 kids AND look like that well that jus makes me pure lazy!  When my now husband, proposed, I asked if she could get me in shape for my beach wedding in Mexico (side note, I had never worked out a day in my life....literally! Never!)

So the first day I went to her house thinking maybe she would tell me lift weights? or maybe run around the block? I had no clue, but secretly hoped we would just have coffee and chat. Well to my surprise she had an entire hour workout planned for me that Wednesday, and every Wednesday for the next 3 months before the wedding. That first day I couldnt even run to teh end of her driveway and backwithout being out of breath (this is funny because she doesn't even have a driveway!)

Fast forward to now, 5 years older, a wedding, a baby......and I can RUN!! Up a hill, down a hill, sideways across a hill, backwards, you name it...I can run it! Now my only problem is - my pregnancy clothes ARE TOO BIG!  Thank you Cheryl, you're not only my trainer, but also my friend.

Whether its Boot Camp, Baby Boot Camp or the joining in on the runs around Elk Lake.....being active and getting stronger is for everyone.  Doesn't matter where you are today.....just that you start......MOVING.
